Good morning, Teri, and welcome to the Twelve Days of Christmas blog!

Now, I'm not saying Santa has officially endorsed this blog, but I've heard a rumor that he has been lurking and reading all the comments.

Maybe he can help you with that trip for your twentieth anniversary! If you could take a dream trip for your anniversary, where would you go?

Urgent message to all elves:

Computer crashed. Must recreate naughty and nice list ASAP. Use utmost discretion when responding.

DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT tell the children.

Signed,
S. Claus

Someplace tropical! Warm, Blue water, ocean beaches, that sort of thing. Oh, and I would take my husband too;-)

Santa! (Waving wildly!) I've been er, good this year! Mostly! Any chance of giving me a trip for Christmas?
Teri

Santa, can you bring enough snow to Park City to ski???
Thanks!

Teri, tell me that at least your kids don't have December birthdays! I'm surrounded by people who need double the gifts this time of year.

Good morning, all! And Teri, thank you so much for being our guest author today.

And while my doggies let me sleep in, it looks like we have a special commenter with us today: an "S. Claus." Would you also be known as "Santa"?

Shhh...I can't tell anyone my real identity or my reputation would be ruined.

Well, it's good to have you with us, S. Claus! Most of us on this blog are writers as well as readers. We all know about pseudonyms and reputations.

We also know about computer crashes and rewrites. So it sounds like we're up for helping you rewrite your list.

Our guest author, Teri Brown, is celebrating her twentieth annivarsary this month. I love her wish for a trip to some place tropical. And she's being especially nice by wanting to take her husband too. :)

And since we're on the subject of weather, Nickie would like snow for skiing. Do you have a connection with the Weather Guy?

And sounds like we need some birthday gifts during December too. Do those go on a different list? Like Jessa, I have to remember which wrapping paper I'm using. I have a grandson whose birthday is on the 22nd and a granddaughter with a birthday on the 26th. That doesn't count the adults.

Is this helping with your list rewrites, Santa--I mean, S. Claus?

Gosh, Teri, I'm sorry! We haven't had any problems before today with commenters trying to hijack this blog. But I guess if someone unexpected is going to drop by, Santa is a nice surprise.

Now, while S. Claus is looking for a techie elf, let's talk about books and writing. Your young adult book, READ MY LIPS, was released in June 2008 and got some wonderful reviews. You also had a fantastic launch party. So what's next? Do you have another writing project in the works?

When Minette Meador pointed me in the direction of this wonderful blog with all these terrific guest author/bloggers I was very grateful. Then when I won a drawing for all the goodies on Day 7, well, I was more than tickled, for sure. But today, in addition to a wonderful guest author/blogger, Teri Brown we are being treated to comments by a celebrity of world renown, S. Claus! I swoon, I tell you, I am faint with excitement. (Please S. Claus, re-enter my name under the good column, er, umm, yeah, good column.)

Teri, I haven't read your book, I am sad to say. I will remedy that, I promise. I truly hope you find a terrific place for your anniversary trip, there are a lot of fabulous ocean-side sites around the world.

Hello, Wanda! So nice of you to drop in again! Teri and S. Claus have both been scarce on the blog for awhile. Hmm...wonder if they found that tropical paradise?

I am taking notes for Santa's list, though, and will be sure you are in the "nice" column. And maybe Santa will tuck a copy of Teri's book in your stocking. :)

For any of you evening guests, please leave your wish list for Santa and questions for Teri. I'm headed for a Christmas party--though not in a tropical location--and I'll watch for both of them there! Catch up with you all when I get back...

Ho, ho, ho, merry elves!

Techie elf found and most of hard drive recovered. An extra candy cane in each of your stockings for the help with the corrections--I mean reconstruction of the naughty and nice list.

Hi Terri,
Sorry about being a day late and a dollar short. But
just wanted to pop in and say hi.

Congrats on reaching 20 years. My hubby and I will celebrate 20 years Jan 21.

Hey, Julie! Late or not, we spotted you!

Congratulations on reaching twenty years of marriage in January! So nice to hear of couples who have made a long-term commitment and made it work!

Thanks for stopping by!
