Today's guest author is Delle Jacobs, three-time Golden Heart winner and currently published with Samhain Publishing and Awe-Struck E-Books. In addition to writing fantasy and historical romance, Delle also designs covers for e-books and small press.
Welcome, Delle! It's so good to have you as guest author!
Sins of the Heart---I love that title. It sounds deliciously romantic. Checked out the excerpt on Samhain and it sounds even better. And I love the history.
I also looked at your website and saw that you had been a Domestic Violence advocate. I've been a Rape Crisis phone counselor for 17 years, and there's been many a time the two organizations have been connected by some caller who has been in need of both services because of the abuse at home.
Being a romance writer is a wonderful way to keep the belief in love alive. Lady Valiant also looks like another great read.
Thanks, Genene, for introducing me to a great author.
Good morning, Nickie! Isn't it wonderful to discover so many wonderful authors? Like that old cliche of a kid in a candy shop: so many great stories, so little time to read. LOL!
So glad you stopped by and so cool that you checked out Delle's Web site. "Deliciously romantic." I like that. a perfect description!
Kudos to you for the work you do as a Rape Crisis phone counselor. Each year, the Rose City Romance Writers based in Portland, Oregon gathers donations for a local women's shelter when they get together for their annual holiday party. Both Delle and I have connections to that chapter of the Romance Writers of America.
That's the main reason I love romance books: the happily-ever-ending. In MY writing world, I get to make sure all those ugly incidents are transformed into joyful opportunities!
I just wanted to stop by and say thank everyone for helping to recreate the naughty and nice list after my computer crashed. My techie elves were able to recover most of the list and you helped fill in the missing pieces!
And because you've all ended up on my "nice" list, I want to give you all the opportunity to add to your wish lists for Christmas. Go ahead, wish BIG!
Just leave your wish on this blog. I'll be lurking!
Julie, I love the title too. As Lady Scandalous it won every contest it entered, and the title was appropriate. But by the time the book sold there were suddenly dozens of similar titles including two by very good friends. So I pulled out the list I've been keeping of title ideas (now over 1200 on the list), and spotted this one. It really fits the book perfectly. How funny, then, when Genene announced her sale, with a title so similar: Songs of the Heart! I still mean to do a comic video of the two books dueling. Soon as I can get to it...
After you download this ornament, print it on heavy or cover stock paper, punch a hole in the top, tie it with ribbon and hang it up! (You can also print two and glue them back to back before punching the hole and tying the ribbon.) The complete collection of twelve ornaments will be posted on my Web site until Christmas.

Ho, ho, ho! Merry Christmas--well, almost.
